Maplehill Community Farm is located on 142 acres in Marshfield, Vermont, just up the hill from Plainfield Village. The farm provides quality food products to the local community and conducts educational and outreach programs for youth, families, and elders. We explore alternative methods of education, food production and distribution, community development, and land-based sustainability. The farm is operated by Elmhill Inc., a non-profit educational and charitable organization.

The Farm

Current farm operations consist of vegetable production, beef cattle, laying chickens, pigs, maple sugaring, honey, hay and an extensive woodlot.

Programs

The farm operates seasonal agro-educational and community development programs, while providing a large percentage of food products used by the students at the Maplehill School.
