Since 1966, Elmhill Inc. has operated various programs to serve Vermont children and adolescents in need. The services provided have included group living, parent support, adolescent advocacy, and educational programs. Currently Elmhill oversees the operations of both The Maplehill School and Maplehill Community Farm.

Collectively these two operations provide education for youth at risk, homeschool and summer camp experiences, food support for the community and those in need, residential apprenticeship programs for adults interested in farming, animal care, and food preparation and preservation.
