Since incorporating in 1966 Elmhill, Inc. has improved the lives of at-risk youths and their families in Vermont. Elmhill first provided therapeutic group home programs and has since established The Maplehill School and Maplehill Farm as foundations for greater outreach to the community. These outreach initiatives include and have included: agro-educational programs, food distribution/sharing activities, and community gatherings that highlight the cycles and seasons of the year by bringing people together to celebrate.

Elmhill's current outreach efforts include our Outreach to Elders program and our participation in the Maple Hill Neighborhood Resource Sharing initiative well as periodic community events such as the Maple Sugaring and Garden Day Festivals and the Harvest Supper.

Elmhill continues to explore new and timely ways to extend its resources to the people of the Central Vermont community.
